Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: Administration Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The administrative assistants are key members of the team that help to keep the day to day operations of the firm running smoothly. Our client is a growing firm that provides a diverse offering of Tax and Accounting Services. The Administrative Assistants support their Tax and Accounting staff by preparing and proofing documents for our clients, generating invoices and statements, and assisting with any customer service or tax filing needs.


Assemble tax returns.
Assist with E-filings.
Typing and/or proofing prepared financial statements, letters, or other client projects as assigned.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain tax organizers.
Prepare and distribute client mailings and correspondence.
Scanning client documentation into filing system.
Preparing and issuing client invoices and statements.
Customer service for internal and external clients for invoicing questions or concerns.
Back up support for Cash Deposits & Front Desk responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Effective multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Prior knowledge of MS Office Suite required and ProSystem or other tax preparation software a plus.
Prior experience in an Accounting, Tax, or CPA environment a plus.
Excellent customer service experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
